The Choice

Two paths. One decision. Nobody can make it for you.

The blue pill: keep scrolling. Keep the notifications on, keep the phone by the bed, keep wondering where the evenings go. It costs nothing today, and a little of everything, every day, forever.

The red pill: wake up. See the machine, take your attention back, and find out what your life feels like when it belongs to you again. It costs some comfort this week — and gives you back the years.

The strange thing about this choice: you already know which one you want. You knew before you finished reading it.
