The Fridge

I open the fridge. And close it again.

I open it again and hold the door open, staring. Seconds pass. More seconds pass. I close the fridge.

A few minutes later, I come back and open it again.

What is missing from this fridge? There are healthy things I can eat. I bought all of these things on purpose. Why is there nothing to eat in this house? What is wrong?

I close the fridge and start looking in the cupboards. They are packed with various things I bought, things I like.

I open the fridge again.

What am I looking for that doesn't exist?

What I realised later is that I was looking for food I could eat immediately. My fridge was full of food that needed to be cooked or prepared first. There were no ready-made meals.

My higher self buys healthy food.

But when I'm in the trance, I want everything ready now.
